i woke up late today! reached sentosa shuttle interchange only at 1120 (instead of 10+) which was very bad, but the guys have been waiting for people (not me specifically, phew) since 10 anyway. im really bad at queue-cutting, even if i have a 'good reason/right' to. thank goodness im quite gutless at such things, or i'll have long become some kind of social hazard.

swam in the sea. i know sea water is suppose to be salty, but today, it was reallyreally salty. ew. andrearuthandme had this idea to exfoliate our skin with the sand. ohya, forgot to mention that sentosa was filled with indianworkers who prolly had a day off cos of deepavali. actually, i like it that they went to sentosa. hello? compared to stoning/stalling up traffic along orchard road doing uh, nothing, they can contribute with that 3bucks worth of entry fee for sentosa! all right, use that bit of your disposable income. Don't buy alcohol, cigarettes, visit brothels, ok?

edited that photo cos- no choice, i left early for church worship rehearsal. well, at least it's a noble reason! (though i was late again!) then, worship prac ended late(!) and i rushed down to suntec city to meet my sis, to grab a bite, then brisk-walk to esplanade to catch a show by my choreographer. we missed the first item = her only piece.

after watching the last piece, which was basically one portraying asian women, it was the lure of doing laoshi's choreography for syf again. that sense of asianness, simplicity that you dont get after watching say, swan lake, nutcracker etc. Sure, it's based on many stereotypes e.g. how the dance started with a dancer tottering across the stage on tip toes - clearly a portrayal of the feet binding kind-of-idea...Nevertheless, it creates a kind of indescribable-close-to-heart-feelin' that i know slips through my fingers once in a while, living in 'busy, modern' singapore, If and Only If, you slow down to focus, and detect.

what i need now is to be stronger and wiser to make this final decision. and then, if im backing out for next year's syf - make it quick and painless (as much as possibly can.) sigh. how pathetic.
